Dr. Jessie Hoffman, PhD, RD
We have sorely been needing a discussion on nutrition on the podcast and we fulfilled this need with an incredible guest – Dr. Jessie Hoffman! Dr. Hoffman’s original interest in nutrition began with her own history of disordered eating which sparked her to pursue a career as a registered dietitian and eventually obtain her PhD in the Nutritional Sciences. Currently, Dr. Hoffman is an assistant professor of nutrition and teaches a course in macro and micronutrient breakdown among her many other responsibilities as a professor. Aside from teaching students she also educates on her Instagram platform using digestible posts to break down topics in nutrition and overall health for her audience. She also owns and runs Jessie Hoffman Nutrition LLC where she provides services geared towards individuals building healthier diets.
In this episode, we discuss a multitude of topics on nutrition making sue to balance the discussion between research and practical takeaways.
